Now that the Tennessee General Assembly has wrapped up its session and discussed hot-button issues, Friday's Public Affairs Roundtable should make for an interesting discussion.
Join Williamson, Inc. from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Friday as the panel focuses on the state budget and the changes that were made this year, particularly to school and transportation funding. The Public Affairs Roundtable will be at the Williamson County Administrative Complex at 1320 West Main St. in Franklin.
Attendees are invited to ask their questions and hear the latest bills being voted on. Guest speakers will include Tennessee Reps. Glen Casada, Jeremy Durham, Charles Sargent and Sen. Jack Johnson.Dave Crouch will moderate the panel.
The hour-long forum is free and open to the general public. The event is presented by the Vanderbilt University Office of Community, Neighborhood, and Government Relations.
