A 57-year-old man involved in a shooting incident on Reveille Court in Franklin’s Cadet subdivision Tuesday has died, according to the Franklin Police Department
According to the FPD, Guillermo Leon, 57, who lived on Reveille Court in Franklin, was shot at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday during an argument outside of his home.
Leon had just arrived home when he and 27-year-old Brenton Johnson, who was visiting the nearby home of a relative, exchanged words. Officers say Johnson shot Leon during the argument, and Leon died at the hospital a short time later.
Charged with criminal homicide, Johnson is being held on a $400,000 bond set by the magistrate. His court date was not set as of 11 a.m. Wednesday.

A man was shot and seriously injured Tuesday evening in Franklin after what Franklin police are calling a “neighborhood dispute.”
According to the Franklin Police Department, a man was shot around 5:15 p.m. on Reveille Court in the Cadet subdivision. The man was seriously injured and transported to a hospital.
The shooter was taken into custody Tuesday. Police are still investigating the incident.
