William Watterud, 28, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and false imprisonment.

A Williamson County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy was fired Tuesday morning after he was arrested overnight on domestic violence charges.  

William Watterud, 28, of Mt. Pleasant, is in the Maury County Jail on charges of aggravated assault and false imprisonment. He had worked for the WCSO for less than five months.
