As the school year approaches, Williamson County Schools is seeking several new staff members to keep operations running smoothly.
For the 2019-20 school year, WCS is in need of food service workers, maintenance workers, teacher assistants (including assistants for special education), substitute teachers and School Age Child Care workers.
WCS will hold a classified job fair at the Williamson County Administrative Complex on Tuesday, July 16.
“We have dedicated a whole job fair to focus on filling our support staff positions,” WCS Human Resources Recruiter David Harries said. “In the past, we have combined it with our yearly teacher fair. With a shortage in the workforce and a continuous upswing of openings, these classified jobs are very critical to the growth of the district.”
The school district also has open teaching positions in middle and high school math, special education, Spanish and more. Visit the district's website to see the full list of openings and to find out how to apply.
WCS suggests applicants to dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes. The fair will run from 4-7 p.m.
