Jeannette ‘Jane’ Isabelle Whited, obituary

Jeanette “Jane” Isabelle Whited, 91 of Franklin, Tenn., died Feb. 2, 2010.
She was a caring mother and grandmother, not only to her own children and grandchildren, but to many other family members and friends that thought of her as a mother as well. Mrs. Whited was a member of Clearview Baptist Church; secretary of the Ladies Investment Club and the Ladies Lumberman Club.
She was preceded in death by parents Raymond Earl Priest and Ruth McCormick Priest Fairley and her devoted husband of 67 years, Samuel Dean Whited. Mrs. Whited is survived by children Jaye (Dwight) Wagner of Franklin, Tenn., Carol Michelle (Tony) Conques of Denham Springs, La. and James H. (Kandi) Whited of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; grandchildren, Michelle and Monty Austell, Autumn (Steve) Bethea, Carmen (David) Newburn, Stephanie and Thomas Whited; great grandchildren, Addison Bethea and Kit Newburn.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, 2 p.m., at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bret Robbe officiating. Interment will be in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, noon to 2 p.m., at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
