Robert Barrett Wood, 33 of Nashville, Tenn. and formerly of Williamson County, Tenn., died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was a graduate of Lipscomb University. Mr. Wood enjoyed outdoor activities and was an avid hiker and cyclist. He was a talented individual and shared his loyal friendship with those that knew him.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle and grandson. Mr. Wood is survived by his parents, Robert and Leesa Wood; brother, Beau (Heather) Wood; sister, Jenna (Kyle) Duvall; nieces and nephew, Lily Wood, Ava, Austin and Autumn Duvall; grandparents, Glenn and Nancy Wood; great grandmother, Virginia Ridgeway; several aunts, uncles and other loving family members.
Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Williamson Memorial, Andy Baker officiating. Interment will be Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
Arrangements are by Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
