Williamson County Chamber mixer set for May 7

Darrell Waltrip Automotive is teaming up with the new, merged Williamson County Chamber of Commerce to host a mixer for chamber members as well as members of the community looking to connect. The mixer will be held at the DW Honda showroom, well dressed with a wine bar provided by Moon Liquors, everyone’s favorite bartenders from the Bunganut Pig serving wine, beer and soft drinks, food and desserts provided by Constant Craving Caterers, topped off with music from Shuff’s Music & Piano Showroom to delight the attendees.

“For the pass three years we’ve hosted the spring mixer for the Williamson County Chamber”, shared DWA General Manager and Vice President, John Gallagher.  “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome the Chamber’s members to our Honda showroom for an evening filled with great food, drinks, and entertainment.”

“We are thrilled Darrell Waltrip Automotive is providing the first opportunity for current and future members of the newly unified Williamson County Chamber of Commerce to connect, “ Matt Largen, President and CEO of the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce said. “We are also very grateful to Darrell Waltrip Automotive for their significant investment of $14 million in an expansion of the dealership to include Buick, GMC and a Collision Center.  Their investment will eventually create 75 good paying jobs for the residents of Williamson County and middle Tennessee.  I look forward to our continued partnership with Darrell Waltrip Automotive, one of most valued corporate citizens.”

Shuff’s Piano Showroom will be delivering a grand piano for the evening and pianist and keyboardist Rick Jackson will be performing for those attending.  Jackson, known for his work with Kirk Whalum, Amy Grant, LeeRoy Parnell, Michael W. Smith and more, has been a local fixture for over fifteen years, teaching and performing all over the area.  ‘

“We’re excited to be back at Darrell Waltrip Honda again to support the chamber and are looking forward to catching up with other local professionals with our own Rick Jackson performing for the crowd,” Ron Shuff, owner of Shuff’s Music and Piano Showroom said.

The mixer will be held Tuesday, May 7, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the Darrell Waltrip Honda showroom on 1430 Murfreesboro Road in Franklin.  Admission is $10 for Chamber members and guests.  For reservations, visit www.williamsoncountychamber.org or call 615.771.1912
