Rosemarie C. (Rolnicki) Selesky, obituary

Rosemarie C. (Rolnicki) Selesky, 83 of Franklin, Tenn., formerly of Orland Park, Illinois and Fountain Hills, Arizona died May 6, 2013. 

 

 

Mrs. Selesky was preceded in death by husband, Francis Selesky, mother and father, Helen and Andrew Rolnicki, brother, Edward Rolnicki, and niece, Christina Rolnicki. 

 

 

Mrs. Selesky is survived by children Gary (Laura) Selesky of New Lenox, Illinois, Diane (Gary) Brand of Brentwood, Tenn. and Renee (Eric) Mesnik of Gilbert, Arizona; grandchildren Katrina (Chris) Apking, Matthew (Carrie Lynn) Selesky, Kris (Jazmine) Brand, Stephanie Brand, Benjamin and Raechel Mesnik; great-grandchild, Franchesca. 

 

 

Mrs. Selesky was born November 13, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Selesky graduated in 1947 from St Augustine School, and then attended business school before becoming an administrative assistant and full-time mother. Mrs. Selesky was a devout Catholic who served St. Michael’s Church of Orland Park as a Eucharistic Minister and volunteer.  A dedicated supporter of Most Holy Redeemer and St. Michaels’s Elementary Schools, Mrs. Selesky was loved by all who knew her for her unrelenting cheerful nature, kind words, and love of life. Mrs. Selesky will be dearly missed and forever loved by all who knew her. 

 

Thanks is extend to all caregivers and nursing staff at Southern Care in Franklin, Tenn., including Cindy Miller and Janet Gilbert, as well as special thanks for the care and love of Willowbrook nurses Vicki, Lisa and Misty for their unending compassionate care and love.

 

Catholic Mass will be held at the Franciscan Renewal Center (CASA), Paradise Valley, Arizona on Monday, May 13, 2013. Private burial will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona. 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Rosemarie’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or Willowbrook Hospice of Franklin, Tenn.

 

Visitation held in Tennessee will be at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3009 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, Tenn. on Thursday May 9, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. 

 

Arrangements are by Williamson Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Franklin.
