Jokers & Jackpots Gala to benefit Bridges Domestic Violence Center

Jana Kelly and Linda Harkins  show off  silent auction items that will be available at the Jokers and Jackpots event.

Plans are set for another fabulous evening of fine casual dining, spectacular music, dancing, “gambling” and shopping at Jokers & Jackpots 14th Annual Gala to be held Saturday, Aug. 24, 6:30-10:30 p.m. at The Factory at Franklin in Jamison Hall.
Everybody's a high roller here. Enjoy a dazzling evening of fun of gaming tables with Texas Hold'em, poker, roulette, craps, and blackjack and prizes, including a $300 airline gift certificate, available when cashing in “winnings” at the end of the evening.

Get the shopping bags out – this year’s silent auction offers a huge variety of items with something for everyone from restaurant gift certificates, Sheryl Crow autographed guitar and local services to items for children.  Returning this year is the live fantasy auction. See the post on the event Facebook page.

Businesses interested in showing off wares to some serious shoppers are encouraged to donate to the silent auction. Email with ideas.

Between dancing, shopping, and playing the tables, sample the creations of local food favorites from Amerigo Italian Restaurant, Constant Cravings Caterers, Daily Dish, Gulf Pride Seafood, Menu Maker’s Catering, Papa C’s Pies, Ribbons of Chocolate, Stoveworks and Swanky’s Taco Shop.
