Franklin Police investigating gas station robbery

Armed, unidentified suspect remains at large
 
Franklin, TN – This morning detectives in Franklin continue their investigation into a Saturday morning armed robbery at a local gas station. At 5:15 a.m. on Aug. 10, Franklin Police were summoned to the Twice Daily Shell station at 229 S. Royal Oaks Blvd. Moments earlier, a suspect armed with a handgun had entered the store and confronted employees inside, demanding money. The robber fled after employees complied, and no one was injured.
 
The suspect is a black male in his mid to late 20s, 6’-6’4” with a thin build. He was wearing a dark Little Caesar’s baseball cap, a white t-shirt, and dark pants. The suspect’s face was covered by a dust mask, and his hands covered with latex gloves. A police canine was called to the scene, but did not locate the suspect.
