Franklin Skin & Laser celebrates seven years

Franklin Skin & Laser is celebrating its seventh anniversary with an open house today from noon to 7 p.m.

The aesthetic medicine and cosmetic surgery practice will recognize the milestone with wine, hors d’oeuvres, special offers and giveaways.  A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Mercy Community Healthcare.

The practice’s medical director, Steven Bengelsdorf, MD, FACS, volunteers at Mercy Community Healthcare, providing dermatologic surgery services each month to individuals in the community that are uninsured or underinsured.

“I was delighted to learn that Mercy was expanding to serve adults and am pleased to be able to use my skills to assist our neighbors,” said Bengelsdorf. “Mercy was a natural choice when selecting a beneficiary of this year’s anniversary celebration.”

In addition to the product giveaways of Laser Hair Removal, Botox® and Latisse®, the practice is offering their best deals of the year on purchases made on Sept. 26.

Specials include offers on Botox®, Juvéderm®, Microdermabrasion, ViPeel®, and Latisse, SkinMedica, Colorescience and sunscreens.

Representatives from Allergan and SkinMedica in addition to the licensed staff at Franklin Skin & Laser, will be on hand to discuss the latest treatments and products to keep your skin looking its best.

"Mercy is honored to be the beneficiary of The Franklin Center for Skin & Laser Surgery’s anniversary event,” said CEO David Winningham. “We have to raise nearly $1 million a year to provide healthcare for the uninsured in our community and its supporters like Dr. Bengelsdorf that help make that possible.”

Individuals who RSVP at 615-595-8177 or in advance of the open house will receive a $25 gift certificate toward services.
