Oct. 12 art exhibition and reception to benefit BRIDGES

The "Building BRIDGES through Art” art show and silent auction is set for Saturday Oct. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at CharacterEYES. The free event features artist gail Mcdaniel and her students showing their watercolor and mixed-media artwork. BRIDGES Domestic Violence Center benefits with 100% of silent auction and twenty percent of all art sale proceeds.  Call 599-1800 for further information.
 
Featured artists include gail Mcdaniel and her students Chris Burns, Linda Curb, Judy Howell, Gigi Mallory, Vikki Nordstrom, B.J. Osborne, Iris Rotker, Terri Tyler and Sandy Weddle. They will present watercolor and mixed-media artwork at a reception and silent auction to benefit BRIDGES Domestic Violence Center.  BRIDGES provides shelter and other resources to victims of domestic abuse.  Refreshments will be served.
