Pumpkin Patch raises money for charity

The Cooper Trooper Foundation Pumpkin Patch is set up beside Walgreens on Mallory Lane in Cool Springs to raise money to support families dealing with childhood cancer.

The cooper Trooper Foundation (CTF), a nonprofit organization, was started in 2008, after Rod and Missy Cook’s youngest son, Cooper, of Franklin was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. After two surgeries to resect a large tumor from his head and neck, Cooper is currently cancer-free and continues to be checked for recurrence at the Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. It was through their experience that The Cooper Trooper Foundation was established.
