Obituary: Roger Dean Goodheart
Roger Dean Goodheart, age 74 of Franklin, Tenn., passed away on Nov. 15, 2013. Goodheart began his career on Wall Street in the municipal bond business.
He was one of the original founding members of the Municipal Securities Review Board. He was a life-long Catholic. Filled with a kind spirit, he was a faithful and loving husband and father. He was a devoted grandfather that never missed any of his grandchildren’s events and was affectionately known as “Bub” which is now a legacy passed along from generation to generation. He was an avid golfer with three holes in one and loved all sports, especially following the New York Giants.
He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by wife, Judith Heim Goodheart, Franklin, Tenn.; sons, Ken (Carri) Goodheart, Roswell, Ga. and Greg (Denise) Goodheart, Brentwood, Tenn. and grandchildren, Ansley, Hayden, Ethan and Griffin Goodheart.
Funeral Mass will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Father Bala Celebrant with visitation one hour prior to the service.
