Andre named officer with judicial conference
General Sessions Court Judge Denise Andre was recently chosen by her peers to serve as Middle District Vice President of the Tennessee General Sessions Judges Conference during their Fall Conference in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The General Sessions Judges Conference is comprised of 153 judges throughout the state of Tennessee.
“I am extremely honored to be selected by the Middle Tennessee General Sessions Judges to represent our district,” Andre said.
Judge Andre was elected to serve as Williamson County General Sessions Judge, Division 1, in 2006. In addition to her criminal and civil dockets, Judge Andre is the founder and presiding judge of the General Sessions DUI Court, an intensive program for multiple DUI offenders.
The program is committed to reducing the number of alcohol related crashes and repeat offenses in Williamson County.
