Join business in helping local family

Papa John’s Pizza is rallying to help support members of a Franklin Special School District family who are grieving over the unexpected loss of their mother.
April Kitchens, the mother of four young children, died after a brief illness related to complications from the flu.
She leaves behind four children, ages 2, 4, 9 and 14, all of whom attend Poplar Grove School.
Kitchens’ husband, Kendall, has worked for Papa John’s in Williamson County for over 20 years and the local franchises want to give back to the family.
During the week of February 3-10, all Papa John’s locations in the county will donate 25 percent of total sales to a memorial fund, set up to help the family cover costs associated with April’s illness and death.
The fund will set aside any extra money for the children’s future.
