Rotary district banquet Feb. 13 at BCC

The annual Rotary District 6760 Foundation Banquet will be held at Brentwood Country Club Feb. 13. Woody Northup has been tapped as this year’s guest speaker for the Williamson County dinner gathering at 6 p.m.
Northup joined the Louisville Rotary Club in 1990, where he was honored as Rotarian of the Year in 2008 after spearheading an effort to raise $780,000 for his city’s Rotary Fund. 
Northup started his business, Radio Sound, Inc. in 1985. Radio Sound supplies sound equipment to almost every major motorcycle company in the world. 
He has been a leader in several organizations in Louisville, including Leadership Louisville, (1989 graduate), Volunteers of America Board of Trustees, Holy Spirit Parish Council, Kentucky Industries for the Blind and DePaul School Board of Trustees.
Northup attended Benedictine High School in Richmond, Virginia and the University of Notre Dame. He and his wife Anne have been married for 45 years and have six children.
