James “David” Gatlin, 74, passed away on Sept. 10, 2019 in Alive Hospice.
Mr. Gatlin was born on May 27, 1945 to Glendon and Alma Gatlin, who preceded him in death. He lived in the Leiper's Fork community and was a lifelong resident of Williamson County.
He was an electrician who served his community with pride and joy. He loved helping people. His special interest were cooking, hunting, raising a garden and being on his tractor.
He is survived by Tammy, his wife of 24 years, ; son, Tommy Gatlin; two brothers, Don (Mary) Gatlin and Howard (Helen) Gatlin. two stepchildren, Brandon (Rachael) Law and Ashley (Travis) Law; grandchildren, Dustin (Kari) Gatlin and Danielle (David) Boggs; three great-granddaughters, Cayleigh Gatlin, Annabelle Law and Norah Law; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
