James Kevin Turner, 52, of the Bethesda community, passed away on July 16, 2019.
Mr. Turner was the owner and operator of Green Thumb Lawncare and Twisted T Farm, where he raised cattle. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and lover of the outdoors. He was best known across state lines for his competitive coon hunting.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Raymond “Jimmy” Turner, and grandparents, Thomas and Nina Irene Warren and S.L. and Vera Campbell Turner.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Giles Turner of the Bethesda community; daughters, Amber Nicole Turner of Franklin, Kasey Jo Turner of the Bethesda community and Taylor Cheyenne Turner of the Bethesda community; mother, Carolyn Warren Turner of Franklin; sister, Rhonda Turner Hammett of Franklin; nieces, Mackenzie and Madi Hammett of Franklin; and beloved pets, Cooper, Nip and Steel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, where his life will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Hurt Cemetery, and visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Mike Graves, Mike Pigue, Milton Crutcher, Wayne Whitt, Vern Everette, Chip Hood, Rusty Reynolds, Steve Barnett, Jimmy Plemons, Buzz Lynch and William Underwood.
