Nancy L. Tudor, 80, passed away early Saturday morning, Oct. 16, 2021, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Tudor was born on Nov. 9, 1940, in Farmers, Kentucky, the daughter of Russell E. and Catherine (Ingram) Flannery.
She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1959 and later married the love of her life, Miles A. Tudor, on Sept. 23, 1960 in Muncie, and he survives. Mrs. Tudor worked as an administrative assistant and did some clerical work for various places around the Muncie area, most notably Junior Achievement and the Mt. Pleasant Twp. library. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and absolutely treasured family times spent with her children and grandchildren.
Besides her husband of 61 years, Miles, she is survived by one daughter, Tereasa Smith (Paul), of Brownsburg, Indiana; four grandchildren Steven Smith (Jennifer) of Rochester, Minnesota, Michael Quiroz-Smith (Milina) of Noblesville, Indiana, Heather (Josh) Smith and Nick Murdock, both of Muncie, Indiana; one great-granddaughter, Maya Quiroz-Smith of Noblesville, Indiana; two sisters Judy Hinsey South Bend, Indiana and Sherry Silvers (Tim Beaty) of Selma, Indiana; one brother, Russell (Linda) Flannery Jr. of Muncie, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert E. Tudor, in 2019 and her parents.
Cremation has been chosen with a private family gathering at a later date. Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
