Roy Martin Wallace Jr., 55, of Nolensville, passed away in his home Oct. 7, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Wallace was born on Nov. 16, 1963 in Nashville. Roy was a family-centered man and valued all his friendships. He was known for his quick wit, willingness to help others and his love for the Tennessee Volunteers. He retired from Nashville Machine Co. in 2018 after 28 dedicated years.
Though he will be deeply missed, the memories of him will be cherished for a lifetime.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Paula Wallace, and their children, Anna (Bo Johnson) and Austin Wallace, as well as siblings, David Lamberth, Bobby Lamberth Jr., Mark Lamberth, Mike Lamberth and Judy Keeter. He’s also survived by the Jones, Whilden, Teague, Bell and Logan families; nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Wallace Sr. and Linda Wallace.
A celebration of his life will be on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, at 5852 Nolensville Road in Nashville.
Honorary pallbearers will include Trip Hailey, David Hailey, Scott Shelton, Ron Fox, Jack Weisner and Kurt Wilson.
