John ‘Johnny’ Polk, obituary

John “Johnny” Nelson Polk, 63 of Lewisburg, Tenn. died Oct. 2, 2012.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by parents, Walter Bernard and Annabelle Moore Polk and brother, Clayton Polk. Mr. Polk is survived by sons, Stacy and Travis Polk; stepmother, Rita Polk; sisters, Diane (Floyd) Carter, Shelia (Gary) Holt and Priscilla (Mark) Hood; brother, Ronnie (Nell) Polk; grandchildren, Josey and Ella Polk.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Gary Fewell officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Hollow Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
Active pallbearers will be Jason Carter, Van Clark, Floyd Carter, Michael Jervis, Stacy Polk, Travis Polk, Scott Gray and Ronnie Polk. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Gary Holt.
Arrangements are by Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
