Robert ‘Bobby Joe’ Nicholson, obituary

Robert Joseph “ Bobby Joe” Nicholson, 82 of Columbia, Tenn. and formerly of Calhoun, Ga., died Dec. 2, 2012.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He achieved the Silver Star for Valor.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Doris Jeanette Webb Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson is survived by sons, Robert (Dana) Nicholson of Centerville, Tenn., Curtis (Dori) Nicholson of Franklin, Tenn. and Christopher Nicholson of Franklin, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Calvin Lunn officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangements are by Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
