Richard Boddy, obituary
Richard William Boddy, 78 of Spring Hill, Tenn., died Jan. 10, 2013.
He was preceded in death by sister, Lois Boddy and parents, Eleanor and Ross Boddy. Mr. Boddy is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lois Boddy; children; Douglas (Donna) Boddy, Overland Park, Kan.; Mark (Carol) Boddy, Franklin, Tenn.; Diane (Dale) Hollister, Lowell, Mich.; and Debbie (Don) Embury, Burton, Mich.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers Robert and Dale Boddy, Jacksonville, Fla. and sister, Sharon (Lee) Harrison, Orange Park, Fla.
He was born in Sanilac County, Mich. He worked for General Motors in Flint, Mich., for 36 years before retiring. Mr. Boddy also served as a volunteer fireman with the Yale and Brockway Fire Department for many years. His hobbies were photography, woodworking, and traveling. After retiring, he and his wife moved to McAllen, Texas, where they lived for 20 years. They moved to Spring Hill, Tenn., in November 2011, to be closer to family.
He attended the Church at Station Hill since moving to Spring Hill.
A Celebration of Life Service was conducted Jan. 16, 2013 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Jay Strother officiating.

Arrangements are by Spring Hill Memorial Park, Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Spring Hill.
