Frances Augusta Chunn Andrews, obituary
Frances Augusta Chunn Andrews, 86, of Spring Hill, Tenn., died Friday, March 15, 2013.
Mrs. Andrews was born in the Rally Hill Community to the late Chester Chunn and Velma Louise Rainey Chunn Rollins. Mrs. Andrews was a lifetime member of Spring Hill Church of Christ, and a longtime employee at Middle Tennessee Bank in Columbia.
Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Zachary T. “Bill” Andrews, in 2002; sister, Dot Long and brother, Chester Odell Chunn.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by her daughters, Wanda (Jimmy) Wright of Franklin, Tenn. and Claudia (Buddy) Moore of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Ruth (Richard) Brown of Columbia, Tenn. and Billie (Wendell) Cooper of Fla.; grandchildren, Amy (Hank) Akin and Edie (Mark) Matykiewicz all of Spring Hill, Tenn. and Matthew Tosh Moore of Bentonville, Ark.; great grandchildren, Liam and Beckett Akin and Ward and Leo Matykiewicz.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Helen Hardison, and “Comfort Keepers”, Carrie Stafford, Jessica Dotta, Terri Hall, and Debi Tidd, also to the loving caregivers at Hospice Compassus, Amedisys Home Health of Spring Hill and Dr. Rand Hayes and staff.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 18, 2013 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home.
Serving as active pallbearers were Wayne Robertson, Phil Bennett, Chad Bailey, Chet and Larry Chunn, Rickey Brown, Hank Akin and Mark Matykiewicz. Honorary pallbearers will be the Middle Tennessee Bank “Girls” and longtime special friend, Clyde Farmer.
