Obituary: Jack E. Tea

Jack E. Tea, age 83 of Franklin, Tenn., passed away on Jan. 18, 2014. Tea was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean conflict. He was a Vice President with L.M. Berry & Co.  and a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. 

 
Tea was preceded in death by wife, Betty Ann Amos Tea; parents, William and Mary Bates Tea. He is survived by stepsons, John Amos Baugh, Frank Fessy Baugh and Joseph D. Baugh, Jr.; sister, Emily Rust; grandchildren, Kelly, Wilkes, Evan, John, Charles, Thomas James and Kathyn Ann Baugh; nephews, Wendell (Joyce) Rust and Jerry (Linda) Rust; numerous great nephews, great nieces and cousins. 
 
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with visitation one hour prior to the service in Otey Hall, Father Bob Cowperthwaite officiating.
