The Grove: Looking Forward

The Grove, a private community in Williamson County, has undergone a dizzying amount of construction and development since Greg Norman was in town to open his signature golf course in June 2012.

When completed, The Grove is estimated to represent a communitywide investment of more than $750 million. The roughly 1,000-acre development will feature a tennis club, Greg Norman golf course, spa, fitness center and a 33,000-square-foot full-service clubhouse, which will be known as the Manor House.

Investors in The Grove are excited about this community’s initial success and potential.
“Looking back, 2012 was an extraordinary year when we accomplished an impressive amount of work in a very short time,” developer Mark Enderle said.

“The mission for 2013 has been to start delivering on the lifestyle promise of The Grove. My partners and I feel that we have done just that and then some. We are excited about the The Grove’s future. There is no other community in the area that allows for such a lifestyle.”

The Manor House will be central to the community and will include some of the best amenities that The Grove can offer. Only the initial framework of the clubhouse has been erected, but plans are well underway to fill the elegant structure with a full-service spa, locker rooms, bar and upscale restaurant, and nutrition bar.

The Manor House has been designed to reflect a traditional country estate with sophisticated architecture and classic décor. The Grove’s clubhouse will be a second home and entertaining outlet for all members and their guests.

Professional, highly trained staff will greet members at the full-service spa and offer exclusive services such as massages, facials, and manicures and pedicures. The spacious men’s and women’s locker rooms will include comfortable lounge areas, complete with flat-screen TVs, food and beverage services, showers, and changing rooms.

The clubhouse will also include a first-rate restaurant and bar, with menus that will be prepared by an executive chef. Other dining options include a nutrition and juice bar for members to enjoy. Finally, the Manor House will also include a fully stocked wine cellar with a wide variety of bottles from around the world. The wine cellar will also have wine classes and tastings.

The Grove plans to have the Manor House completed by 2014 in coordination with the completion of the community’s Sports Centre, formally the swim, fitness and tennis club. The Sports Centre will serve as The Grove’s activity core with a gym and fitness center, swimming pools, tennis courts, and an event lawn.

After the two main community buildings are opened for members to enjoy, The Grove will continue to add to the development’s master plan by building a kids club for children, a teen center and a neighborhood coffee shop for everyone to enjoy.

As The Grove continues to grow its lifestyle community, builders are constructing more home sites for future members. Phase 2 of the home site development will feature an additional lake and views of the golf course. The entire interior section is currently planned as a horse pasture to complement The Grove’s equestrian program.

The Grove has already proved itself a viable community, securing 82 founding members with 82 home site sales in its first year. With so many new initiatives planned, The Grove will continue to draw more interest and remain an avid investor in the Williamson County community.  To find more information go to www.groveliving.com.
