UK punter, Indy grad Foster nominated for national honors

University of Kentucky punter Landon Foster, an Independence High School graduate, has been nominated for the 2015 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team in recognition of his volunteer work off the field.

Franklin’s Joey Barbera recently set an American record in the United States Powerlifting Association.  Competing in the 185-pound submasters weight division, Barbera squatted a record 476 pounds.
