Three Williamson County schools inched up in the final regular season high school football polls released by the Associated Press on Monday.

In Class 6A, Ravenwood closed with a No. 8 ranking after holding onto No. 9 last week. The Raptors blasted Independence in the final week of the regular season Friday. Brentwood, which earned the Region 6-6A title Friday, sat just outside the poll in 6A.

In Class 5A, Page moved up one place to No. 4. The Patriots, who ended 9-1 overall with a lone loss to Ravenwood, won a region title for the first time since 1999. They dispatched Columbia 31-10 last week.

In Class 3A, Fairview mirrored Ravenwood’s move to No. 8 from No. 9 in the final poll. The Yellow Jackets crushed Cheatham County last week.

Division II-AA’s Christ Presbyterian Academy, No. 2, and Battle Ground Academy, No. 4, stayed put after the final week of regular season play, while Brentwood Academy moved up one place to No. 4 after a shutout win at Ensworth.
