Football - Independence vs. Ravenwood at Nolensville

Entering the first round of the high school football playoffs means one final Associated Press Top 10 statewide poll across the classifications. The poll was released early this week.

Both Ravenwood and Brentwood held steady in the Class 6A holding on to the No. 4 and No. 6 rankings. In Class 5A, Page moved up one spot to No. 5, while Region 5-5A rival Summit sat just outside the poll with a first round contest at No. 6 Gallatin looming.

In Class 4A, Nolensville closed the regular season with back-to-back losses and slipped to No. 8 overall.

In Division II, Battle Ground Academy and Christ Presbyterian Academy both showed some motion in DII-AA after an eventful Week 11 and despite missing the playoffs for the first time in more than two decades, Brentwood Academy sat just outside the top five in DII-AAA.
