Football: Page, Nolensville move up polls; Brentwood, Ravenwood stay steady in 6A

Both the Page and Nolensville football teams showed movement in the latest Associated Press Top 10 statewide poll.

The Patriots cruised to a 38-7 Region 5-5A win at Columbia Central in Week 9 and moved from No. 10 last week to No. 7 in Class 5A.

The unbeaten Knights, who claimed a 23-10 win over Maplewood in a Region 4-4A contest, inched up from No. 5 in Class 4A to No. 4.

Brentwood, 33-7 winners at Franklin in Week 9, and Ravenwood, 38-0 winners over Smyrna, both held on to No. 5 and No. 6 respectively in Class 6A.

Other movement included Summit falling out of the Class 5A poll. The Spartans dropped a 42-25 contest at Shelbyville Central. The Golden Eagles moved into the poll at No. 10 with the win.

The Associated Press' Top 10 teams in each of Tennessee's six Division I non-financial aid classifications and in the combined Division II financial aid classification as selected by Tennessee AP-member sportswriters and broadcasters. With first-place votes in parentheses, records through Oct. 21, total points based on 10 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 10th-place vote:
