Columbia Central 30, Nolensville 7

The Knights struggled to find offense for second consecutive week in a Region 6-5A contest in Columbia Friday.

Nolensville gave up the first three touchdowns on the road before scoring late in the third quarter on a Coby Walton touchdown pass to Chance Fitzgerald.

Walton closed 16-of-30 for 195 yards with a TD and an interception. Nolensville’s ground game was limited to 49 yards. Dylan Northcutt caught five balls for 60 yards and Ben Coggin added three catches for 53, while Fitzgerald added three more catches with 53 yards and the TD.

After rolling up 449 yards of offense in a 53-6 win over Lincoln County, the Knights have sputtered, falling to Ensworth 59-6 a week ago and combining for just 13 points in two games.

Nolensville heads to Rockvale next week.
