The Franklin girls soccer team cruised to a 4-0 win against Nolensville Tuesday to end the regular season.
Eliza Paisley scored twice and assisted on another to lead the Lady Rebels in the Williamson County matchup. Megan Wroblewski added a goal and an assist and Liva Jensen also scored for Franklin.
Charlotte Menko earned the shutout in goal for Franklin and Emily Isaacs added an assist.
Franklin ends the regular season 7-3-2 and begins postseason play Monday. The Lady Rebels will host Centennial to open the District 12-AAA tournament where top-seeded Brentwood awaits the winner.
Battle Ground Academy 1, Summit 0
The Lady Wildcats traveled to Spring Hill to close out the regular season and used a Keaton Mitchell tally to post the non-conference win.
Mitchell scored in the 59th off a pass from Kennedy Price. Paige Shea secured the shutout and made two saves in goal for BGA.
The Lady Wildcats are a third-seed at the upcoming Division II-A Middle Region tournament. On Saturday, they will host the winner of Thursday’s Middle Tennessee Christian at Davidson Academy match.
The Lady Spartans open District 12-AAA tournament play against Independence Monday. Second-seeded Ravenwood awaits the winner in the district semifinals.
Grace Christian Academy 3, Ensworth 2
Gabby Jones netted two goals and GCA out-gunned the Lady Tigers in the second half to post the non-conference win Tuesday in Nashville.
Jones broke a 0-0 halftime tie with a tally early in the second half and after Ensworth responded with a score, Jones netted another. Katie Dial tacked on the third goal for a 3-1 lead on a penalty kick in the 70th before the home team scored one more late.
The Lady Lions are a No. 2 seed in the upcoming DII-A Middle Region tournament and hold a double bye. They will host a region quarterfinal on Tuesday.
