Alyssa White scored two goals and the Battle Ground Academy girls soccer team stayed unbeaten with a 2-1 victory at Brentwood Academy on Tuesday in a non-conference Division II matchup.

White struck first in the 16th minute after BGA keeper Graci Semptimphelter shut down a corner attempt by the hosts and triggered a long ball from Cat Schreiber to the streaking White for the tally.

In the 36th, the Lady Eagles responded when Nolyn Bartholomew shed a defender and fired in a goal from the middle of the box toward the left post. Lucy James Knox assisted on the score for BA.

The Lady Wildcats used a quick transition move in the 72nd to break the 1-1 tie. White netted her second goal on a ball from Keaton Mitchell for the 2-1 advantage, which held the rest of the way.

BGA impoved to 5-0 overall.

Semptimphelter made six saves in goal for the Lady Wildcats in the win. Felicity Chandler collected nine saves for the Lady Eagles.

BGA hosts Harpeth Hall on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Franklin, while Brentwood Academy faces the Honeybears on Tuesday.
