The Ravenwood High School softball team overcame visiting Page Tuesday in a District 11-AAA contest with a 2-1 victory in Brentwood.
Avery Wissmar allowed just two hits for the Lady Raptors, who scored twice in the bottom of the fifth. Wissmar went 3-for-3 at the plate with an RBI in the fifth. Hailey Donato added two singles and Linley Pittman drove in the other run for Ravenwood, which stranded eight runners.
Wissmar struck out seven with three walks, surrendering one run on the two hits.
Ravenwood improved to 6-6 overall. The Lady Raptors host more than two dozen teams at Fly Park in Franklin for the Ravenwood Raptor Classic Friday and Saturday.
Ella Polk went 1-for-3 and drove in the Lady Patriots lone run. Page was coming off a 12-2 loss to Brentwood Monday.
Giles County 5, Nolensville 4
Jada Gardner produced a walkoff victory for the Lady Bobcats with a single on the first pitch of her at bat Tuesday.
Nolensville had knotted the game at 4-4 when Rylan Smith drove in Avery Patton with two outs in the top of the seventh. The Lady Knights trailed 4-1 early, but closed the gap by plating two runs in the top of the fifth.
Paige Dickenson went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for Nolensville and Avery Patton added a single and double while scoring two runs. Lauren Ryan also picked up a double.
Gardner and Kylie Hendricks each had two hits for Giles County.
Christ Presbyterian Academy 12, Battle Ground Academy 3
The Lady Lions smacked 11 hits to take a win over BGA Tuesday.
Addison Summers and Mary Taylor Oliver each had multiple hits for CPA, while Emma Price posted the win on the mound. Price struck out 12 with no walks, giving up three runs on six hits.
Beth Fleming homered to lead BGA. Fleming and Abby McLay each had two hits.
