Softball: Williamson County coaching carousel continues with changes at Page, Franklin

Williamson County’s end of year coaching carousel continued to turn this week with the resignation of softball coaches Dawn Hale at Page and Lindsey Consiglio at Franklin.

Both are leaving to spend more time with their families. Hale will continue to teach at Page, her alma mater, while Consiglio is pursuing other opportunities have outside of education.

Hale’s replacement is another Page grad with strong ties to the program. Bobby Thoni has been an assistant with his older sister throughout her career, and with Morgan Dill, a 2010 Page grad and softball standout, remaining on the staff, the Lady Patriots should have the smoothest transition in the county.

At Franklin, Karen Whidby takes over a Lady Rebels program on the upswing. Whidby may be better known as Karen Hargrove, a standout on the early 2000’s teams at Franklin. Whibdy later earned All-American honors at Martin Methodist College in Pulaski.
