Williamson County will welcome approximately 900 senior athletes from across the state from June 21-27 for the 39th annual Tennessee Senior Olympics State Finals presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.
Senior athletes, ages 50 and older, from across Tennessee will compete in an Olympic-style competition, including the following events: swimming, track and field, horseshoes, table tennis, bowling, badminton, tennis, basketball, archery, racquetball, cycling, volleyball, shuffleboard, bowling, badminton, tennis, golf, pickleball, 10K and 5K runs, corn hole and disc golf.
Various facilities in Williamson County will be used, including Battle Ground Academy, the Indoor Sports Complex, Franklin Recreation Center and Franklin Entertainment Center.
The TSO exists to help adults ages 50 and over feel stronger, healthier, younger and more joyful, and to help them be here for the next generation.
