Dylan Ables vs. Timothy Ford 

The Centennial wrestling team posted a 53-18 district win at Summit on Thursday.

The Cougars trailed 18-6 through six matches, but back-to-back pins from Dylan Ables (120) and Jackson Wynne-Dossat (126) tied the match and Centennial produced three pins and three decisions wins the rest of the way.

Ables was coming off a third-place showing at Wilson Central’s Bussey-Dickeson Invitational last weekend. Wynne-Dossat was second at the tournament where Centennial closed third overall.

Nolensville takes two at Siegel

The Knights tipped Lavergne 63-13 and stopped Siegel 64-9.

Against Lavergne, McKinley Wagner sparked Nolensville with a first-round pin at 195. The Knights won the next eight matches to blow open a 15-13 match, including five pins.

The Patriots cruised past Spring Hill in a district battle Thursday. Page had nine wins by pin and two others by technical fall.

Fairview wins two at Harpeth

The Yellow Jackets knocked out host Harpeth 58-18 with wins over the final five matches, including three pins, to open up a big lead.

Fairview also produced a 82-6 win over MLK in the tri-match Thursday.

Brentwood falls against Oakland

The Bruins, who are hosting the GP West Invitational Friday and Saturday, battled to a 21-16 deficit through seven matches before Oakland took over with six straight wins.

Brentwood’s Dean Klueppelberg (132), Samuel Sullivan (138) and Skylar Coffey (285) all earned pins for the Bruins.

Oakland finished second at Wilson Central's tournament over the weekend, edging Centennial by nine points in the final team standings.
