The Fairview Yellow Jackets reminded football fans that they have one of the most high-powered offenses in the mid-state in Week 6, defeating Marshall County 62-28. It was the most points Fairview has scored in a single game since 1990 when they beat Stewart County 63-13.

Quarterback Jack Ramey completed 11-of-13 passes on the night for 152 yards and two touchdowns while running back Julian Franklin had 17 carries for 123 yards and one score on the ground. He also had a 23-yard touchdown catch.

The Yellow Jackets overpowered the Tigers with their ground attack to the tune of 442 yards and four scores.

Deondre Moore was Fairview’s leading receiver with five catches, 60 yards, and two touchdowns.

Brentwood Academy continued their dominant history over Baylor, traveling to Chattanooga and beating the Red Raiders 34-16. It is BA’s 17th win in the 19-game series.

The Eagles lead was cut to 14-10 in the second quarter on a Reggie Upshaw 6-yard touchdown pass before BA answered with three-unanswered scores through the third quarter.

Running back D’Montre Wade ran for three touchdowns on the night while carrying the ball 10 times for 70 yards.

Quarterback Max Staver had 93 rushing yards of his own while also completing 11-of-19 passes for 178 yards and a score.

Battle Ground Academy lost their third-consecutive contest of the 2012 season, falling to McCallie 41-6.

Alex Trotter scored a 90-yard touchdown on a kick return and Samir Usman on a 36-yard run for McCallie in the first quarter, putting the Blue Tornado up 14-0.

BGA quarterback Tucker Beathard scored on a 1-yard run in the second before McCallie’s defense tightened for the remainder of the game.

Following their first District 12-AA victory one week prior, the Summit Spartans fell to Hickman County 42-14.

Quarterback Dee Hunter led the team with 126 rushing yards and a touchdown on 13 carries while completing 2-of-5 passes for 21 yards and a touchdown pass to Chris Carr. Anthony DiLoreto added 88 yards on the ground for the Spartans.
