The Page Lady Patriots are Region 6-AA champions, defeating Creek Wood on their home court 66-61 Wednesday night.
Trailing 34-33 at the half, the District 12-AA regular season and tournament champs outscored Creek Wood 19-15 in the third quarter to take the edge.
Region tournament Most Valuable Player Chloe Wigginton led Page with 23 points while Bria White added 19.
Rachel Bell had a game-high 32 points for Creek Wood while Lamarra Gordon added 23 points off four 3-pointers.
The win extends Page’s win streak to 20 – longest amongst any team in Williamson County.
Page will host a Class AA sectional game Saturday against Region 5-AA runner up Christ Presbyterian Academy – a rematch from last year. CPA won on their home court last in 2012 and went on to win the Class AA state tournament.
