Local Tennis Pro to host upcoming Tennis Channel reality show

Local tennis professional and Head Tennis Coach at Centennial High School, Bill Riddle heads west this weekend to film a pilot show for the Tennis Channel.  The show called, the "GRIPS Challenge", will be filmed at the Malibu Racquet Club just outside of Los Angeles.
 
The show will feature two families competing against each other in a series of tennis related questions and physical challenges.  Riddle will serve as a host on the show and conduct interviews throughout the challenges with the families while interacting with the audience. 
 
 "I was surprised to get the call about the show but super excited to be a part of it and always look forward to promoting the sport of tennis any way I can" said Riddle.
 
The GRIPS Challenge will air later this fall on the Tennis Channel cable network. 
 
Riddle has also served as the Director of Tennis and Professional for the Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club in Hendersonville for the last sixteen years and is an active promoter of tennis not only locally but globally.  Entertainment and promoting tennis is part of Riddle's regular activities as he has served as a Co-Chair and Tournament Director for the long running Music City Tennis Invitational as well as co hosting a radio tennis talk show, pod cast and a junior tennis instructional DVD.
