County almost sweeps GNASH action

Williamson County teams captured five of the six games played last night in GNASH hockey action, including the Independence-Summit team, which scored an amazing 13 goals.
Independence-Summit 13, Station Camp-Beech 5
Chase Lutz and Connor Linkowski scored three goals each and Lutz added two assists in Independence-Summit’s 13-5 run away victory over Station Camp-Beech. Corey Jenks added two goals and two assists while Chase Macnicoll and Delcan O’Neil each had a goal and two assists.
Centennial 5, Father Ryan 3
Kyle Kawamura led the Cougars with three goals and two assists. Ian Currie scored twice.
Franklin-Oakland 4, FRA-Lipscomb 3
Franklin-Oakland erased a 3-1 deficit in the third period in a come-from-behind victory. Taylor Hall scored the game winner with just 1:34 left in the game. Jake McKamey, Gavin Marsh, Nicholas Crump also had goals.
Blackman-Stewarts Creek 9, Centennial B 3
Blackman-Stewarts Creek carried a dominating 8-0 lead into the third period, closing out Centennial B 9-3. Ethan Schmidt, Michael Zeller and Chris Hutter put three points on the board for the Cougars in the final period.
Hume Fogg-Page 5, White House Heritage-MLK 2
Breaking open a tight 2-1 game with three goals in the third period, Hume Fogg-Page stopped White House Heritage-MLK 5-2. Nick Magee opened the scoring for HF-P at the 13:46 mark of the first period and added another with just 36-seconds left in the second period.
In the third, Parker Adams, Owen Sullivant and Parker added goals to create the insurmountable lead.
Zach Horton and MaGee had a pair of assists each.
Brentwood 1, Pope John Paul II 0
The Bruins pulled out the closest game of the night on a Brendan Carolan goal, assisted by William Haberer at the 9:13 mark of the first period.
