Construction is currently underway on State Route 96, from Arno Road to State Route 252 (Wilson Pike), in Williamson County. The $49.7 million project will widen the two-lane roadway to accommodate four lanes of travel (two in each direction) with a dedicated center turn lane and 10-foot shoulders.

The reconstruction of SR 96 between Arno Road and Wilson Pike is one of four projects planned for the SR 96, which will tie-in to other reconstructed sections at either end of the corridor.
