CASA Playhouse Raffle

A $20 bill could get you a chance to win a $17,000 home while providing a child the opportunity for a safe and permanent home.

The 2012 CASA Playhouse is on display through Oct. 27 next to Dotson’s and across from Puckett’s Boathouse. The purchase of a $20 raffle ticket is a chance to win the playhouse. Tickets are available through the following downtown Franklin businesses: Dotson's, Puckett's Boathouse, Thomas Kinkade Gallery and Uncle Bud’s Catfish Shack as well as the Williamson County CASA office and every Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on location.

For information, call 615-591-2699 ext. 2 or visit for directions.

This sale of the playhouse will benefit Williamson County CASA and help provide children with a safe and permanent home. The 200-square-foot playhouse was professionally designed by Walter Kiskaddon at Kiskaddon + architects, plc and built by Rob Johnson at Johnson Custom Homes, LLC. It includes full wiring for lights, sockets and air conditioner, a removable slide, Dutch door, inside loft with ladder, working sealed windows, custom painting and stain, chalkboard wall, tongue and groove flooring, insulated bead board wall, and composite roof. The playhouse is designed for multiple uses such as a potting shed or art studio and ceiling height is conducive to adult use. Free delivery up to five miles from location to be placed on pre-approved area.

On Oct. 27, WC CASA will draw the winning raffle ticket at the close of Pumpkinfest in Downtown Franklin. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the WC CASA booth throughout the day and additional drawings will be held for fun children’s prizes. All proceeds from the raffle ticket sales provide crucial funding to WC CASA. In addition to raising critical funds, this event brings the plight of child abuse to the forefront of public attention.
