United Way's Marketing & Communications Manager Cheryl Stewart stands among a handful of the more than 1,000 baskets of food donated for the Full Tummies, Warm Hearts collection. Food and assorted other items are donated annually to a growing list of needy families in Williamson County for Thanksgiving.
Donors get creative in their baskets, often including toys for children, snacks to compliment post-dinner sandwiches and oven mitts.
Rows of baskets, buckets, bags and containers of food are placed throughout the United Way offices on Gothic Drive in Franklin awaiting delivery on Friday, Nov. 16 for needy families and individuals throughout the county.
Donors often include messages of hope with the items they provide.
