The JAM Advanced Music camp is pleased to announce that the prestigious Berklee College of Music will be conducting college auditions/interviews during the 2013 Music Camp at Batttle Ground Academy in the Harlin Student Center on June 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Berklee College of Music, located in Boston, Massachusetts, is the world's premier college for the music of today—and tomorrow. Currently 5 former JAM students are enrolled at Berklee, and many JAM instructors are Berklee alumni.

The auditions are for rising juniors and seniors in high school or older. Berklee will consider sophomore students as well; however, sophomores will conduct a practice audition/interview only.

JAM students and alumni will be given priority scheduling, but auditions are open to all musicians who are interested. Students do not have to apply to Berklee to participate in the auditions.

Participants must preregister to audition. Auditions will be scheduled on a first come-first served basis until all spots are full.

There are no sign ups at the JAM. For more information, email Davis Wimberly at dwimberly@berklee.edu. For more information about this topic, please call Kay O’Connell at 615-439-0445 or e-mail kay@bgajam.com.

The JAM is an advanced music camp for aspiring musicians ages 13-21 with at least 2 years of music experience.  It will be held at the Battle Ground Academy campus on June 24 – 28 and July 1 – 6.  For more information, visit www.bgajam.com or call 615-439-0445.
