Franklin Transit Authority announces September deals for seniors

The Franklin Transit Authority has a deal on wheels for seniors in the month of September: a two-for-one special!  In September any two seniors, age 65+, can ride the Franklin Transit fixed route service for the price of one ticket; two can ride for only fifty cents.

“The Franklin Transit Authority is dedicated to providing affordable, safe and timely public transportation for our senior citizens,” says Debbie Henry, Executive Director of The TMA Group. “We encourage seniors to bring a friend and take advantage of the September Senior Special.”

Transit fixed routes run from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. All Franklin Transit vehicles are wheelchair accessible, complete with air conditioning and comfortable seating. Anyone having questions about the September Senior Special or who need route information can call Franklin Transit Authority at 628-0260 or visit www.franklintransit.org

The TMA Group is a regional leader in customizing environmentally friendly, multimodal transportation solutions for employers and communities. The TMA Group manages and operates the Franklin Transit service on behalf of the Franklin Transit Authority.
