TMA Group promotes 2 on staff, adds a new employee

The TMA Group (Transportation Management Association) in Franklin recently announced the promotions of two staff persons and the addition of a new employee.

Mike Johnston has been promoted to transit director and Monte Rodriguez moves up to transit compliance director. 

In his new role, Johnston will ensure outstanding transportation logistics, dispatch, customer service, operations, compliance and reporting for The TMA Group Transit division. Johnston has been with The TMA Group for 10 years.

Rodriguez in his new role is responsible for overseeing the compliance requirements of assets and safety programs, continued control and compliance, and vehicle logistics as required by the Federal Transit Administration, TDOT and TMA Group managed transit programs. Rodriguez has been with The TMA Group for 12 years.

“We are excited to promote Mike Johnston and Monte Rodriguez into these respective positions,” Glenn McGehee, TMA board chairman, said in a press release. “Their experience, knowledge, dedicated work and long-term commitment to the success of TMA are outstanding. 

Additionally, Ray Brooks has joined the TMA Group in Transit Operations. With vast transportation and dispatch experience, Brooks is responsible for the daily complete customer experience for all TMA customers. Working with the transit drivers and team, Brooks will ensure and maximize a positive experience for the customer and the community.
