  • 0

Approximately 100 students, parents and volunteers, and even a few dogs, participated in Johnson Elementary School’s Walk/Bike to School Day Wednesday morning.

The crowd gathered at Jim Warren Park in Franklin at 7 a.m. and set off toward the school. The event was held in partnership with JES, Franklin Special School District, the city of Franklin and Bike Walk Franklin.

Walkers and riders utilized the recently completed multi-use path along Highway 96 and helped promote walking and biking as a safe and healthy alternative to car transportation.
